MakeWelcomeBook is operated by Mário Otruba, sole trader, Martina Hattalu 2973, 026 01 Dolný Kubín, Slovakia — the data controller for this site.
The short version
Everything you type into the builder stays in your browser. Your WiFi password, door codes, address, house rules — none of it is ever sent to our servers. We couldn't read it if we wanted to. It is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device, and you can erase it any time by clearing your browser data.
What we do process
Payments: handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We receive your email address and payment confirmation, never your card number. Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy. We keep payment records as required by Slovak accounting law.
Advertising measurement: if you arrived from one of our ads, Google's conversion cookie may tell Google that a purchase happened, so we know our advertising works. This does not include anything you typed into the builder.
Email: if you write to us, we keep the correspondence so we can help you.
What we don't do
No account, no sign-up, no marketing emails unless you ask for them.
We never sell or share personal data with third parties beyond the processors named above.
Your rights (GDPR)
You can request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data at any time, and you can complain to the Slovak data protection authority (dataprotection.gov.sk). Since we hold almost nothing about you, deletion requests are usually done the same day.
